Faculty are encouraged to use the copiers in their own departments and buildings. The copiers in the library have not been set up to accept department codes.
If you plan to use library copiers extensively, see a full-time library staff member. It will be necessary to contact the Copy Center to have specific codes input.
Place Items on Reserve
1) Fill out the Reserves Form to place items on reserve at the library.
2) Please allow a 1 week processing period before materials are available to the students at the beginning of the fall and spring terms.
3) Photocopies may be placed on reserve for one semester only without written permission from the copyright holder.
4) If the library makes photocopies of an article for you to be placed on reserve, the cost of the photocopies will be charged back to your department.
Reserves are shelved at the Circulation Desk. Professors may send personal copies to place on reserve or use library copies if the library owns the item.
At the end of the semester, personal copies will be returned via campus mail or may be picked up at the circulation desk. Library copies will be returned to the stacks.
Two scantron machines are housed in the Learning Center of Townsend Memorial Library. They are available all hours the library is open. An instructional DVD and printed material are available to faculty. The library staff is not responsible for operation of the machine.
If you experience a problem, please report it to Sandy Heller, circulation manager.
The scantron machines are loaner machines, and if it breaks down, it will be returned to the company for a replacement.
